Capture
Archived postings
Job postings change. Salary ranges move, locations flip to hybrid, and some listings disappear. Applicairn keeps a snapshot from the moment you save the job.
The snapshot is taken during capture, on the website or in the extension. It is stored with that application.
What is kept
- A screenshot of the posting page.
- The job description text extracted from the page.
- The URL you captured, plus company and apply links when they were found.
- Application questions when the form was on the page or fetched with the posting. Those show on the application under Application questions, with the answers you draft beside them.
Manual jobs that never went through capture will not have a screenshot. You can still fill the fields and add notes.
The snapshot is the posting you applied against
When a listing is edited after you submit, the screenshot and saved text are the copy you can point to — in a conversation with a recruiter, or when you are checking what you agreed to.
If you cancel
Leaving the review step before you save deletes the snapshot that was just uploaded. Nothing is kept for an application you did not create.
Questions from the form
When questions are extracted, each one can be marked relevant. The application page shows the relevant questions first and tucks the rest behind Show hidden. You can draft an answer on each question and save it on the job. Those drafts stay in Applicairn; they are a copy for you, not an automatic submit to the employer.
The extension can surface the same questions when you return to a matched application’s form.
