Understand
Analytics
Analytics is the picture of the search: how many applications, how far they get, and how long companies take to answer.
Open Analytics in the sidebar. The numbers follow the date window in the top bar.
Date window
| Window | Applications included |
|---|---|
| All time | Everything in the account. |
| Last 90 days | The default window. |
| Last 6 weeks | A shorter read of the current search. |
| Last 1 month | The last 30 days. |
| Last 2 weeks | The last 14 days. |
Rates in a short window move quickly. Use 90 days or all time when you want a stable read, and two weeks when you are checking a recent change in how you apply.
The summary
- Total apps in the window.
- Screen rate — the share that reached a conversation after applying.
- Interview rate — the share that reached an interview.
- Onsite rate — the share that reached an onsite.
- Offer rate — the share that reached an offer.
- Avg response — the average number of days until the first response. Under a day is shown as less than one day.
Charts
Applications per month is a count of new applications, with a note when the latest month is up or down versus the one before it.
Stage breakdown is the mix of Saved, Applied, Talking, Interviewing, Onsite, Offered, and Closed. Closed is included here even though those cards are off the open board.
Application flow draws how applications move from Applied through Talking, Interviewing, Onsite, and Offered, and where they exit to Closed. A thick band is a common path. A band into Closed is where searches ended.
Use the flow together with the resume library. If one resume is attached to most of the applications that reach Interviewing, that is the version to keep sending. The chart itself is by stage, not by resume; the resume on each job is what lets you compare versions by opening those applications or by the “used in” counts in the library.
